Building a Light Field HMD

Based on the 2013 Nvidia paper on near eye light-field displays by Lanman et al. (Lanman, Douglas, and David Luebke. "Near-eye light field displays." ACM Transactions on Graphics (TOG)32, no. 6 (2013): 220.) We tried to build a similar type of prototype light field display to explore various avenues with regards to near-eye applications. We don't exactly reach any useful conclusions in part thanks to technical difficulties with proper lens alignment, but building and actually getting a near eye light field display to work was very exciting
